Melessa Leigh Katzenberger, age 40 of Bellingham, WA, died September 10, 2001 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born August 15, 1961 in Ft. Worth, TX to Elton and Bonnie (Wiley) Lindsey. She was a graduate of Bellingham High School. Melessa married Jack Katzenberger in Coeur D' Alene, ID. He preceded her in death August, 1998. She worked for Allsop Automatic, BriTec and for security at the Bellingham Airport. Melissa enjoyed traveling, hiking and the outdoors.

Survived by her mother, Bonnie Lindsey of Bellingham, WA brothers, Jerry Lindsey of Ft. Worth, TX, Larry Lindsey of Bellingham, WA and numerous other relatives.

Memorial services will be held at Community Baptist Church, 810 Samish Way, Bellingham. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
